Weaving sett tool
This beautiful little tool allows weavers to make a one inch square sample of their weaving idea, but without the hassle of warping up their loom. Use the measurements to make a gauge and determine how much warp and weft you need.
Weaving a sample around this little tool creates a fabric with two layers. You can then cut the threads between and keep two little inch squares as samples, or wash the other one to test for shrinking or colour bleeding. Neat!
The tool itself is about 5cm square, with a handy chain in one corner.
This lovely item has been laser cut from domestic Cherry hardwood and hand finished by the lovely Katrinkles in the USA.
