Greybow handwoven scarf
This scarf is designed to represent a rainbow on a rainy, overcast day.
It's mostly sheep and alpaca wool, with some nylon and a bit of sparkle. The thick blue grey travelling inlay yarn has been handcreated. Not quite handspun, but I took two yarns and plied them together on my spinning wheel, then plied the resulting yarn with itself to create a richly textured and unique yarn.
The scarf is on the small side. It's 12.5cm wide by 177cm long (excluding 12cm fringe on each end). It is extremely soft and comfortable to wear next to the skin.
