This shawl pin is solid metal alloy in a shiny golden coating. It has a very shiny finish with a beaten metal effect, giving it lots of character. One side is covered in fine lines, given the pin even more texture.
The gold bar to secure the pin is a very narrow 2mm, so it should work with even the most densely knit or fine yarn shawls.
